WE MADE IT! January is over, and I really could not be happier. Despite the fact I went to Prague during this month, which was amazing (click here to read my Prague blog), I always find January dull and full of nothing. I seem to be 10 times more tired than usual, and severely lacking in motivation. Besides all the moaning, I have decided to give you an insight into a few things I have loved using this month (there are quite a number of them!)

Aspinal of London Letterbox Saddle Bag

img_5775I was the luckiest girl in the world to receive this as a Christmas present from my boyfriend, and it is the perfect sized bag for all occasions. Oxblood/Burgundy was my absolute favourite colour of 2015 and still is, so when I first set my eyes on this bag, I fell in love immediately. It comes with an across the body strap which you clip onto the sides of the main handle, which makes it really versatile for use in the day. I really like using it without this strap on in the evenings if I am going out for dinner/drinks. I just think it is a really sleek and stylish bag and I think it is going to be my favourite bag for years to come!

Whistles Card Holder

img_6873Whilst I do have an Oxblood Mulberry purse which matches my new bag perfectly, I am the worst for just chucking my bank card in my pocket or bag and then rummaging around for it in a panic when I come to pay for things. I actually got this in the sale, and it has been so useful. I can put it into my pocket or slip it into a pocket in my bag and it means my card is safe and easier to find. The main thing I love about this card holder is the pattern, it makes it so much more interesting and the pattern actually helps me to find it when I look into my bag. I also love the gold engraved writing on it, it makes it feel really special.

Urban Decay Naked Smoky Palette

img_6721-1This was another Christmas present I was lucky enough to receive. I wrote a review blog about this product, and this pretty much explains just how much I have been loving this palette throughout January. This palette is perfect for daytime and evening looks, click here to see my review.

Tom Ford Velvet Orchid

img_6875I have been lusting after this fragrance for quite some time, and finally purchased it in duty free when going to Prague. I have fallen in love with this fragrance, it is such a rich floral scent and I have been complimented on it every time I have worn it so far. I think this could easily become my new signature scent!

Laura Mercier Crème Smooth Lipstick, Spiced Rose

img_6664The final item on my January Favourites list is a lipstick I am so glad to have added to my collection. Again, this was a Christmas present, I was certainly a very lucky girl this Christmas. I cannot explain how much I love this lipstick!! It is fast becoming my go-to everyday lipstick. It is the perfect accompaniment to a more natural look or a really dramatic dark eye. This lipstick feels so nourishing on the lips and lasts hours before having to reapply. I am very pale and this rose colour compliments my skin colour very well, however I think it would work with all skin tones.

What have been your January favourites?
